21st century capabilities at St Marys Senior High School
Our school community is focused on developing well-rounded young people, focused on the future. In this ever changing world it is important that students develop a portfolio based on their 21st century capabilities to ensure that they remain a highly valued and sort after graduate once their HSC studies with us are completed.
Universities, tertiary institutions and employers are increasingly demanding evidence of these skills; for example, universities often require this evidence for both scholarships and in their entry requirements, with some early entry university programs being awarded exclusively based on the demonstration of these capabilities.
By focusing on helping our young people develop a solid understanding of these 21st century capabilities as well as providing a wide range of opportunities to develop these skills and abilities, we seek to give our students an advantage in the rapidly changing landscape around us.
